The Roughneck 25-Gallon Poly Gas Caddy is a sturdy gravity-fed fuel tank that provides the safest and easiest way to refuel watercraft, ATVs, lawn equipment, snowmobiles and other motorized equipment. The 25-gal. tank is constructed of high-strength cross-linked polyethylene for extreme durability in almost any conditions for fuel transfer and storage. Includes hand-operated discharge nozzle. Transport Canada approved.

  1. Physics of Gravity Feed

    In order to gravity fuel, does the nozzle have to be below the fuel outlet at the bottom of the tank or just below the level of fuel in the tank?

    1. Nozzle must be below level of the fuel in the tank. The lower the nozzle in relationship to the level of fuel in the tank, the faster the flow rate out of the tank.

  2. Can this be safely filled while in the bed of a pick up

    1. You are never supposed to fill any gas can in the back of a pickup due to static electricity. However this thing weighs about 180 lbs when filled

    2. The manufacturer states that this unit is to be filled while on the ground. It is not safe to do so in the bed of a truck. Full instructions can be found in the product manual, located on this item's specifications page.
