    1. one side is liters and the other is labeled gal. but is graduated by quarts.

    will this dispenser work with gear oil?

    1. Yes, we used it on 75w-90 to 75w-140 all work well, air pump it out strong and FAST.

  3. Can i pair it with Item# 28481 Roughneck Digital Oil Control Valve Meter ?

    Would i need to have it connected to a constant pressure from an air compressor?

    1. No, once the oil is in, just air/pressurize the tank with air, It lasts quite awhile, Be sure you mark the tank with what type of oil is in the tank.

    2. This oil dispenser includes its own valve meter/dispensing gun. Northern Tool cannot recommend using another meter or valve since modifying this dispenser in any way will void its warranty. The dispenser doesn't require constant connection to an air compressor to operate.

  4. What is maximum viscosity that this will handle, i.e. 90w ?

    1. Will handle all weights to 80w/90w. 80w/90w will have to be room temp. at above 50 or so degrees.

    2. This is for use with a viscosity under ISO 500. The temperature of the liquid is also a factor. If the temperature is 70 degrees or higher the pump will work better. When the temperature is under 70 degrees it will be more difficult.

  6. can I use degreasers in this

    1. Alkaline degreasing agents are not compatible. However, neutral and solvent-based degreasing agents can be used, provided exposure time is limited and liquids are not stored in the container for more than one month.

  7. How do you know hot many arts you’re putting in?  Does it spill laying down not using?  I got a truck bed.

    1. This oil dispenser includes its own valve meter/dispensing gun. We do recommend keeping the system upright once it is filled.
