  2. Can I hook a garden hose to it?

    1. To connect your hose, first use a 2-inch to ¾-inch reducer bushing and a pipe coupling on the bulkhead of the tank. Then, thread on a ¾-inch NPT-to-garden-hose adapter, and consider adding an optional ball valve.

      Please note: The hose should never be connected to a pressurized supply.

  3. if kept outside what is the effect of freeze/thaw/ freeze cycle during western PA winters

    1. The manufacturer advises against leaving the tank outside in freezing temperatures, as it may rupture due to ice expansion.

  4. Can you use this tank as a resivor in a basement. And can you in stall a pump in it

    1. The tank could be put in a basement for use as a reservoir tank. You would not be able to install a pump in it.

    1. We do not carry a 2" drain valve for the tank.

    1. The tank cannot be buried underground.

  7. Does this tank completely drain? Is it strong to mount on a trailer? Is marked for gallons?

    1. The tank will not completely drain. There may be some residual remaining. There are no mounting holes on the tank. You will need to mount the tank using tie down straps that are not included. The tank is marked in 50 gallon increments.
