  • No Hardwiring Required: The standard 7-way plug can help for a quick connection to your tow vehicle. Please Note: Some vehicles (including certain Ford models) may not have the auxiliary power fuse installed. You can install the appropriate trailer auxiliary power fuse in the vehicle fuse box or adjust the positive and ground wires inside the plug to match the vehicle connector wiring.
  • PLEASE NOTE!!!: This hitch-mounted mobility carriers are not recommended for use on tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers, motor-homes or RVs. Carriers are also not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a riser adapter.

  1. Where does the emergency hand crank go?

    1. The hand crank does not attach permanently to the unit, instead, if the battery lacks enough power to operate the lift, the platform can be raised or lowered manually by inserting the crank into the manual override socket on the motor/gearbox housing at the base of the lift post, typically located behind a small rubber cap.

  2. It's parked on level pavement. the carrier is lowered and the tray touches the ground. All corners DO NOT rest evenly. How do you adjust it to correct tilt? The manual crank doesn't help tilt. What screws/bolts do you use?

    1. The carrier is unable to lay completely flat. This does not affect the normal functionality of the carrier. Adjustments to the carrier is not available.

  3. how do you level it on the ground?

    1. 1) Park on level ground – Start on a flat surface for stability.

      2)Press DOWN – Lower the carrier until the tray touches the ground.

      3)Check for even contact – Ensure all corners rest evenly.
      Adjust if tilted – Use the manual crank to correct any tilt.

  5. I have a 334 lb electric  velocity wheelchair. Will the 350lb automatic electric carrier work?  If not does it come with a higher weight limit?

    1. The wheelchair and scooter carrier has a 350 pound weight capacity. As long as the wheelchair does not exceed the 350 pounds it will work.
