Product Summary

RDS general-purpose marine fuel tank offers expanded fuel capacity and extended run time for boats, generators, pressure washers or other specialty applications using gas or diesel fuel. Works perfectly for pontoon boats and can be bolted to pontoon for permanent use.
It is the user's responsibility to comply with local, state and federal requirements pertaining to safe transportation, loading and discharging of tank contents. Note: This smooth mil finished tank may have some scratch marks, which is normal and unavoidable with this finish type.

    1. No, there is no low point drain. But it's easy enough to siphon and then flip to empty the remaining gas.

    1. A 2 inch hose could not be attached to this fuel tank. It has a 1.5 inch fill opening. A 2 inch hose would not fit or seal properly.

    1. The tab on the top of the tank is used for grounding the tank.

  7. is the fuel gauge port threaded ??? i will order if that is what it is. there are 2 pictures with two different configurations.

    1. The port for the fuel gauge is not threaded; it is a 5-hole style sending unit as shown in the second image.

  8. Is there a fuel fill neck extension for this marine fuel tank? I need to bring the fuel cap up about 8 inches.

    1. The unit does not offer a fuel fill neck extension. The unit is to be used without modification.

    Can you recommend either a manual or electric pump & fuel nozzle assembly for this tank?

    1. This tank does is not intended to have a fuel pump mounted to it. Please see our item #58038 for a portable 12V fuel pump that can be used with this tank.

  10. Can I remove the gas cap and install a hose for external fueling and can i use one fo the inlets for a vent?

    1. This tank is designed with two fuel outlets with 1/4 in. FPT aluminum fittings. The fill cap is not designed to be removed for an inlet hose for external fueling.The fuel outlets are not designed for venting use. The tank should be used as the manufacturer intended only.
