  1. What size regulator and filter are recomened for this model?

    I want to add a shut off valve, Air regulator and filter to the compressor. Is their a size, 1/4, 3/8 or 1/2 size that is recommended? What about brand?

    1. We would recommend a 1/2 inch Filter or Regulator, as the air outlet size is a 1/2 inch. See our item number 48576. It is a full Filter-Regulator-Lubricator Combo.

  3. A few questions

    Do you have to buy a regulator and petcock for the tank drain outlet or are these included?

    Does installing an after-cooler+water drain between the pump and the tank void the warranty? I'd like to eliminate water before it goes into the tank.

    How does the noise level compare to the QT-54?

    1. I had to buy a regulator and I added a filter on it but it already has a drain valve on the bottom of the tank

    2. The compressor has a manual tank drain and would include everything needed. It would not void the warranty to install an after cooler and water drain between the pump and tank. This tank would have a higher noise level than the QT-54. The manufacturer does not give a decibel rating on these compressors.

    1. It does not come with a power cord. Should wired by an electrician.
