Quincy QGS with Dryer offers superior compressed air performance in a compact, modern and quiet design. This extremely quiet rotary screw compressor features a continuous 100% duty cycle and operates without the high vibration and sound levels produced by typical reciprocating compressors. A small footprint and lower noise levels offer increased installation flexibility, making the QGS ideal for most applications. Compressor features an integrated refrigerated air dryer to purify compressed air by chilling it to condense and remove moisture, airborne dirt and oil. Comes equipped with a TEFC electric motor, V-belt drive, oil-injected twin screw pump, standard quiet enclosure, 8000-hr. premium synthetic fluid, ASME certified receiver tank and more.

  1. HOW MANY TECHS CAN WORK OFF OF THE UNIT AT THE SAME TIME?

    1. It would be dependent on your set up and the CFM of the tools you would be running on it. More than one person could be connected provided you would not exceed the maximum 21.2 CFM the compressor is rated for.

  4. Can it be wired for 208v

    Are the controls mechanical or microprocessor? We use RF welding equipment in the building which might interfere with a PLC controller.

    1. The Quincy QGS Rotary Screw Compressor would require 230 volt power supplied to it. The controls would not be affected by RF equipment being used in the same building.

  6. i'm interested in this air compressor but I need to know the electrical data of this unit. I know it says single phase 230v but how many AMPS??

    1. When running at full load current, the Quincy QGS will draw 40 amps. An initial surge at start-up will require this to be hardwired into an 80 amp breaker.
