Product Summary

The Prince Tie-Rod Cylinder is made to handle the most demanding applications. With 70 plus years of American-made know-how they use a high-strength ductile iron piston, butt, gland, and clevis, plus urethane seals in a honed tube that allow them to handle 3,000 PSI continuous working pressure. Aircraft quality paint provides lasting performance. Seal kits are also available (sold separately.)

  1. How do you measure the bore

    1 answer

    1. Insert a bore gauge into the cylinder, expand it to contact the walls, and lock it. Then, measure the gauge with a micrometer at several depths and angles to determine the true bore diameter. This model has a bore diameter of 2.5 inches.

  2. Is the port size 1/2" NPT, or -8 SAE O-ring?
