4-way with floats; has balanced spools with select fit. Load checks to prevent load drops when shifting directions. Good for use on snowplows, dozers, loaders etc. Float valves allow blade or bracket to float along ground. Will accept power beyond plug conversion. Relief preset at 2,000 PSI. Adjustable from 1,500 to 3,000 PSI. U.S.A.

    1. This control valve will have a max 30 gallons per minute flow rate. It does not have an auto-return feature.

  3. Request clarification on the valve spool. Is it a total open center spool? A and B ports open to tank and the pump port is open to tank in the center positon. I need a valve to control the direction and speed of an hydraulic motor. Thanks.

    1. This control valve has an open center with float, allowing the pump flow and cylinder port flow open to the tank.

  4. How do I change the operating pressure on this valve?

    1. There is an adjustment knob located to the left of the handle. The pressure is factory set at 2,000 PSI. Adjustments may potentially void the warranty and are not recommended unless necessary.
      We recommend you consult the product manual prior to making adjustments.

  5. Does this valve a hold position for travel without having to manually hold the lever in place?

    1. This valve would need to be held to operate other than the float position.

  6. Are the ports straight thread o-ring ports?

    1. The Prince Control Valve has #12 SAE inlet and outlet ports and #10 SAE working ports which are straight thread O ring type ports.

  7. Does this valve have a bypass port, so when no fluid is needed, pump does not build pressure?

    1. This valve has a relief valve preset at 2000 psi and is adjustable from 1500 to 3000 psi. The bypass port would send fluid back to reservoir when not in use.

    1. With the valve handle facing front, you would push the handle up to place it in float position.

  10. Are the input threads to this valve NPT? If so, how do you connect this to the power unit and cylinder.

    The unit I am looking at (PN 10591) has 9/16-18 SAE threads, and the cylinder (PN 992048) has 3/4-16 ORB threads.

    1. The valve has 3/4" outlet and inlet ports NPTF. The working ports are 1/2" NPTF.
