Product Summary

Gear-type, heavy-duty hydraulic pump is designed for PTO drive operation on tractors of all sizes. No additional gearing is required. These pumps feature self-adjusting wear plates that seal off leakage and offset any wear or expansion that may occur during the life of the pump. High tensile aluminum housing, minimum gear clearance, cast iron endplates. Internal splined shafts go all the way through and are supported on both sides by roller bearings. All models have a #16 SAE inlet port and two #12 SAE outlet ports. Include #12 SAE to 3/4in. NPTF female adapter. Reservoir size should at least be as large as the output of the pump.

  1. can this be installed upside down?

    I don't have enough clearance above the pto shaft to install as soon.

    1. I didn't either. On my Kubuto there was a metal shield protecting the PTO, I guess. It was bolted on so I took it off.

    2. yes. it does not matter about mounting orientation, only direction of rotation must be followed.

    3. Yes, pump will work at any angle, I've run mine at 90deg, and upside down.

    1. Only one operation can be used at a time through the PTO pump.

    1. This is designed to be used as a pump only. It will not operate as a motor.

  5. What keeps pump in place

    What holds the pump on the PTO shaft I know that a chain keeps it from rotating ,is there a spring and ball to keep from sliding off

    1. The Prince Hydraulic pump will mount tight to the PTO shaft and it does not require a bracing to keep the pump on the shaft.

    1. This pump does not have in internal pressure relief valve.

    Is it a floating pressure type? Does it have down pressure or only for lifting?

    1. This pump produces flow. It does not create pressure. It is designed for 2250 PSI max. relief valve setting. A relief valve, external to the pump, must be provided in the system.
