  1. Is there a preferred mounting orientation? Should flat section be on top, bottom, or side?

    1. I placed the open section on top, easier access to the flex coupling set screws, so the flat section to the bottom

    2. There is no preferred mounting orientation. It would just depend on how your pump and engine are mounted.

  2. Will this mount to a Haldex 11 gpm pump?

    1. yes, it fits perfectly, I have mine coupled to a Powerhorse 208 engine and everything bolts right up. do not over torque the pump bolts.

    2. Yes, the mounting bracket will fit the Haldex 11, 13.6 and 16 GPM 2 stage pumps.

    1. yes this will bolt to the 13.6 gpm pump it is the same pump i have and had no problem mounting

    2. Yes, The Hydraulic Pump Mounting Bracket will mount up to the 13.6 gpm pump. You would need to have one of the following engines:
      Fits: 5 HP Briggs STD or IC/IP
      Fits: 5 HP Robin Industrial
      Fits: 5 and 6 HP Tecumseh
      Fits: 5.5 HP Honda

  4. the pump mounting side is 2" square what is the motor side hole spacing distance ??

    1. The bolt circle for the engine side is 3 5/8" and the bolt circle for the pump side is 2 13/16".

  5. What size bolts are used to attach the pump to the bracket?

    1. This bracket has 7/16" diameter threaded mounting holes for the engine side and 5/16" diameter threaded mounting holes on the pump side. The bolts on the pump side need to be 18 TPI and 1-1/4" long.

    1. The bracket will hold up almost as good as any metal bracket. The bracket does not list any weight or strength ratings.

  10. What is overall length exactly?

    I used this part number when building a log splitter 10 years ago. Now I need to replace it since it is cracked. The original one is 4 1/2" long, not 4" as the specs say the current one is. I need to know an accurate length.
