  1. What speed does the application rate calculation assume in the user manual?

    1 answer

    1. The spreader should not be towed at more than 3-4 miles per hour. It would vary depending on the type of product you are spreading. This information is normally found in the instructions for the fertilizer or seed. There are calculations for setting the flow rate in the product manual listed on our web.

  2. Can you shut off the broadcast from your mower by just reaching behind you or do you have to get off the mower in order to do so? I see there is handle where you can adjust the flow rate from your seat but does that handle also turn off the flow rate?

    1. The handle that you use to set the flow rate is also the handle that you would use to shut the flow off. See page 9 of the product manual we have online.

  3. Will the bags of fertilizer have a setting on it for this product?

    1. On the bag of fertilizer it will state how much square footage it will cover and how much the bag weighs. To calculate, divide the bag weight by the suggested square footage it will cover. This will give you an approximate pounds per square footage needed. Per this you will choose from settings 2 for 2.5 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft., 2.5 for 3 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft., 2.75 per 3.5 lbs. per sq. ft. and 3 for 4 lbs. per sq. ft. on the spreader. The settings are listed in the manual for reference.
