This helmet features a True Color Technology upgrade that improves visibility and reduces eye strain by minimizing the traditional lime green coloring in the helmet view screen. The 14.4 sq. in. viewing area gives you a full view of the welding area to enhance operator control. This helmet includes 4 arc sensors and is designed for TIG, MIG, MMA and plasma applications with a grinding feature. Adjustable ratcheting headgear is padded for comfort. Exclusive to Northern Tool; limited quantity.

  1. Does this have a off and on switch for when not in use to keep battery from wearing down?

    1. This helmet does not have an ON/OFF switch. The battery is a replaceable Li-ion cell (CR2450).

    1. This helmet does not include a magnifying lens. At this time, we do not offer one to fit.

  3. How to replace clear front lens on this hood

    1 answer

    1. To replace the clear lens, place the helmet face down. Reach inside and pull the bottom clips which hold all the lenses in place. Remove the cartridge that holds the inner lens, then when the clear lens can be accessed, push it in from the front to take it out. Then, place the new lens, the cartridge and clips back in place.
