Connection to 50A Manual Transfer Switch while in parallel mode
In the situation where I have 2x 7.5KW Powerhorse Inverter Generators connected in parallel using the Cable Kit for use as a house power backup system, how do I connect to my house 50A Manual Transfer Switch? I only have 1 inlet on the Switch so do I just connect it to 1 outlet on 1 Generator that will then supply the power from both Generators?
1 answer-
PowerhorseExpert6· 3 years ago
You may connect one single 240 Volt/50 amp receptacle from 2 paralleled generators to a 240 volt transfer switch and pull a maximum of 12,000 rated watts. See item #100170 and #33833 for cord options if you have a CS6365 receptacle for the transfer switch.
