  1. Is pressure adjustable?

    I want to use this with a surface cleaner that has a maximum pressure rating of 3500psi. Is the pressure adjustable so the surface cleaner isn't damaged?

    1. This pressure washer has an unloader valve that can be adjusted to allow for a lower pressure. Our pressure washer gauge, item #32154 would aid in accurately adjusting the pressure.

  2. what is the little black box on the side of the engine with 2 lines coming out of the breather box

    1. This will be the positive and negative leads to the control box assembly.

  3. Does this pressure washer take a special kind of pump oil or have its own reservoir for the pump oil?

    1. The pump will be shipped with oil in it. You will need to check the oil level prior to starting for the first time. If the pump needs to be filled or topped off, SAE15W-40 non-detergent pump oil, or SAE 30W non-detergent pump oil can be used.

  5. Can I use a foam cannon with this pressure washer? Item number 112978. I can't tell why some washers do not recommend using foam cannons, and some say it is fine. What's the difference?

    1. The foam cannon, item 112978, can be used with this pressure washer. It is rated for use with pressure washers up to 4000 PSI and 6.5 GPM. This pressure washer produces 4000 PSI and 4.0 GPM.

  7. how does the chemical injector work?

    1. You would insert the chemical hose onto the injector to pull the chemical from the onboard chemical tank to the pump.

  8. Can you run bleach?

    1. This model is not recommended for bleach. Certain chemicals, such as bleach or those containing
      muriatic acid will cause pump damage, if introduced upstream through the pump's water inlet. See our Northstar soft wash system, item #157140 that can be used with bleach.

  9. What is the ratio for the downstream injector and can chlorine be put in it?

    1. Mix 1 part chemical to 10 parts water. Chlorine cannot be used with this.

  10. What's the capacity of the chemical tank? How much cleaning solution does it hold?

    1. The chemical tank on this pressure washer will hold 1.2 Liters of a cleaning solution.
