    1. Yes! Depending on the detergent used, pressure washer is very adept at cleaning most anything. Due to the pressure, I generally begin at a distant of 2 feet away and then gradually get closer until I find the sweet spot (distance), for the most effective cleaning/washing.

    3. I think you just need to select the correct tip so that you are cleaning versus removing. It is very strong so just use the tip that reduces the amount of PSI to a cleaning.

    Does this have a pull starter (like a lawn mower) or a push-button auto start?

    1. Pull starter. It is very similar to a lawn mower pull start with a similar amount of force needed.

    2. It is a recoil, pull to start just like most lawn mowers. It does have the easy pull system so most any woman or responsible child would have no trouble pulling it. Mine starts very quickly, generally first pull.

    3. The pressure washer has a recoil (pull) start system. The Powerhorse Pressure Washer features the Easy Start recoil system to take the strain out of pulling to start the pressure washer. The pressure washer does not have a pull strength rating.

  8. What is the pressure range of this washer? Details are not in the description. I know maximum 3100psi but what is minimum? Is it safe to wash car?

    1. Yes it is safe to wash a car. There is a 40 degree nozzle that is meant for that purpose.

    2. My son has a black Corvette which he keeps in immaculate condiition. He uses this washer at least once a week to wash his car. Just keep the tip at least 15 or 20 inches from the paint, and you'll be fine. Works really great to clean the wheels, tires, and bugs off the front bumper.

    3. The Powerhorse Pressure Washer does include a knob on the pump to adjust the PSI. The pressure can be adjusted down to half of the rated PSI.

  9. Does this have a fuel shutoff valve?

    I would be using this fairly infrequently. I like to drain the carburetor of gas, but not necessarily the gas tank between extended periods of use. Does it have a fuel shutoff valve?

    1. Yes it does, and I always use non ethanol fuel in mine.

    Can it be removed and can you use a hose instead?

    1. The detergent tank is approximately 13 1/2" long x 12" wide x 3 1/4" high overall. The tank does not have to be removed for a hose to be used instead. If a hose is used to draw chemical from a bucket, using the chemical strainer, item 221222 is recommended. This would be available through our sister company, Jacks Small Engines.     2. Detergent tank sits underneath everything. Sales rep sold me a plastic hose to go from pump into a bucket of soapy water. I didn't try it due to nearby vegetation - but that was "what most people do."
