  1. my 3100psi pressure came with a 30ft 1/4" hose. Will my water pressure be affected if i use a 50ft 3/8" hose ?

    1. Assuming you have appropriate adapters to transition from 1/4” to 3/8”, 3,100 PSI will remain unchanged.

    2. i added it to my 2500 and i dont notice a drop in pressue.

    3. No. I use this same 3/8" with my Generac 3100 psi PW and I put a pressure gauge on the PW then again at the wand and noticed no decrease in pressure compared to the OEM 1/4" original hose it came with.

    4. You can double your hose length at the same diameter without affecting the pressure. Changing the diameter of the hose will cause a little difference in pressure, but not significantly.

  2. Can the coupling ends be changed if don't fit my existing equip. Are they screwed on hose ends and if so, what size type threads.

    2. You can change the fittings on the hose, but it may be better to change the fittings on your equipment to match the hose configuration.

    3. The quick-connect couplers on this hose can be replaced. The threaded fittings on the hose are 3/8" NPT.

    3. This pressure washer hose will connect to any pressure washer hose that has the standard 3/8 inch quick couplers. This will connect to any of our 4000 PSI or less NorthStar Pressure Washers that come with the gray hose with black bend restrictors.

  6. I need a hose with M22 fittings

    Is this hose proper for as a replacement hose for a power washer hose that has M22 fittings.

    1. No it is not, this is NPT or National pipe thread. But they do make adapters that can make this hose work.

    2. This would not be the correct hose for your application. Assuming your washer has 22mm male connectors on both the gun and the pump, you would need a hose with two 22mm female connectors. See Below.

  7. I recently bought one of your Northstar 3600psi NS E300. It came with a 50’ hose. Would it work ok to use two 50’ pressure washer hoses end to end instead of buying a 100’ hose?

    1. As long as the fittings match, the hoses can be connected to provide a greater hose length.

  8. Are the M22 fittings on this hose 14mm or 15mm ID?

    1. This pressure washer hose has 3/8in. male NPT fittings coupled to 3/8in. straight-through industrial quick connects. It does not have M22 fittings.
