    1. This truck loader has a recoil (pull) starter. Electric start is not currently an option.

  3. Will this suck up yard plants after they are cut back in fall? Plants such as day lilies, hostas, ornamental grasses, black eyed susan, coneflowers, etc? I'm searching for a solution to be able to suck up plants after they are cut back to the ground.

    1. This vacuum is capable of sucking up plant debris as described. Keep in mind that if the grasses or stems are long, they could cause the blades to bind and/or clog up the machine leading to the machine not working as efficiently.

  4. What are the dimensions of the base plate for mounting the leaf loader?

    1. The overall dimensions of the mounting base is 22.99" L x 14.49" W. The bolt hole spacing is 21.77" L x 11.02" W.

    1. The vacuum truck loader can pick up pine cones. It is not recommended to pick up sticks. Sticks can clog the pipe.

    1. This vacuum truck loader is intended for vacuuming leaves, clippings, and other similar sized organic material from the ground into a truck or trailer. We do not recommend using it for pallet chips.

    1. The impeller is 15.82 inches in diameter. The width of each impeller blade is 4.76 inches.

  8. Is there an opening to chip small branches?  If so how thick can they be?

    1. This unit vacuums up the debris, it does not have chipper funnel to insert small branches. A chipper/shredder like item 53135 is equipped with a chipper funnel.

    1. It would depend on the mounting height. The height from the very bottom of the loader to the center of the chute outlet is 65.2" (1656mm) high.
