  1. Will this machine blow sawdust if hooked to a portable sawmill? Would require 20’ of suction hose and 50’ discharge hose.  Dry very fine sawdust

    1. Theoretically, the suction power should be sufficient to handle fine sawdust when connected to a portable sawmill. However, please note that we have not conducted specific testing with sawdust. Our verified testing has only confirmed that it can effectively vacuum small stones.

    1. This could be used to pick up pea sized gravel; however, it is not suggested for this use as it will damage the discharge port.

  7. What are the dimensions of the rectangular discharge chute ie length by width before the black deflector on the end? I want to add a section of hose to run to a hopper on a collection bin.

    1. The discharge end of the chute, without the deflector attached, measures 3.97"(101mm) x 4.02" (102mm). Modifications to this machine will void the warranty.

  9. This may sound crazy - but can this be used for manure pickup? I’m looking for efficiency at our barn. I’d attach it to our dump trailer and then suck up the picked up piles from the stalls

    1. This chipper/shredder would not be recommended for manure pick up as heavy and wet materials tend to clog up the system.
