The largest diameter log this would accept at the log opening is 20 inches. The opening for the chain to go through is 1 1/2" H by 2 1/2" W.

What is the proper way to attach log to skid cone?

To attach the log, place your choker chain diagonally across the bottom of the skidding cone and roll the log partially into the cone and set your choker.
