Product Summary

The Hobart® Champion™ 145 welder/generator is an ideal choice for maintenance and repair projects. It easily handles 5/32in. electrodes to weld steel, stainless steel and cast iron up to 1/4in. thick. 30% duty cycle @ 130 Amps, 25V. The Champion 145 features a 6.25-gal. gas tank, providing vastly superior run times. It includes a 6-50R 20 Amp, 240V AC outlet and four 20 Amp, 115V AC GFCI outlets, all with covers, providing ample auxiliary power for equipment and accessories or emergency backup power. Includes running gear and durable roll bar frame for added protection, along with a large pancake-style muffler for quiet operation.

  1. does this item have   leads?  If not can I purchase that seperately or do I have to buy a machine that has those?

    1. This unit does not come with the leads. The item #628510 is 15/20' leads and #628511 is 50' lead.

  3. Can I run current to the Welder from an outside power source without running the Generator? Meaning can I use as a regular welding machine?

    1. This Hobart Champion 145 Welder/Generator can not be ran from an outside power source. The Welder only works with the engine running.
