  1. This says complete kit but what about the hydraulics ?

    1. The kit will include the hydraulic cylinder.

  2. Can the bumper stay on the truck?

    1. The bumper will need to be removed during installation. The rear bumper can be added back to the truck. With the hoist kit installed, the bumper is only decorative and provides no function.

  3. Can this dump bed fit in the 6' 6" bed?

    1. This is a dump hoist kit for a 5.7 ft bed. Currently, we do not offer a dump hoist kit for a 6.5 ft. bed.

  4. How is fuel filling addressed with this kit?

    1. There are a couple ways to address the fuel tank with this kit to fill the fuel tank. One would be to cut the filler neck short, you would then need to lift the dump hoist to fill the tank. Second, you would detach the filler neck and put a piece of steel there to reinforce it and keep it stiff and can fill the gas tank at the door. Instructions would be included in the installation manual you receive with the kit.

  5. When you say short bed, do you mean the 5.5 ft bed or the 6.5 ft bed?

    1. This is for the 5.7 ft bed.

  6. Do the body lines match with the bed down? I don't see a lift cylinder in the kit, does it come wit h one?

    1. The body lines do match when installed properly. The bed does have to be moved back a bit to allow for clearance, but the bed height should not change. There is a scissor assembly that installs beneath the bed that will house the lift cylinder.
