  1. Can you have a Fifth Wheel Installed in the bed with the lift?

    2. No, this system will require the box to be able to move independently of the frame of the vehicle. A fifth wheel hitch will be tied into the frame of the vehicle through the box and keep the box from moving independently.

  2. Does it effect the towing capacity of the truck?

    1. This dump hoist kit once installed will not affect the towing capacity of the truck provided it has a receiver hitch attached to the truck frame. If the ball hitch is attached to the truck's bumper, it cannot be used for towing.

  3. How is the set up when i lift the body and when i fuel my truck up? Does anything have to be done when setting this up for my 2000 f350?

    i just want to know before i buy this package and if there is anything else that is going to be a problem or a factor when i set it up for my truck such as does it hinge in the back like a dually dump or what is required. Thank you.

    1. Your vehicle will need some modifications before installing this Truck Dump Hoist Kit.
      These modifications are as follows:
      1. This unit does hinge on the back and the rear bumper will need to be welded to the hinge to allow movement with the bed of the truck.
      2. The fuel necks for the fuel tanks will need to be re-routed out to the fender wells and will need extensions which can be purchased at any local automotive store.
      3. The receiver hitch might need to be re-fabricated and it is recommended that after installation of the Dump Hoist kit, there is very limited towing with 0-light weight limits.
