    1. The flatbed is not included in the package. This is just the kit to turn your flatbed truck into a hoist lift truck.

  2. What is the electrical draw of this pump?

    1. The amp draw under load will range from 150-175 amps. A 200 amp breaker is supplied from the manufacturer with the kit.

  3. What if the hitch is integrated with the flatbed? I can't recall if the goose neck ball is part of the flat bed or not but, if it's not, would the goose neck ball still be useable?

    1. If the hitch is integrated with the flatbed, you would loose your ability for towing. If it is not a part of the flatbed and is an after market hitch, it may still be usable for towing with the hoist kit, but would need to be moved up.

  6. What diameter is the cylinder and length .

    1. The cylinder's closed pin center is 40.25" long. The outside diameter is 6". It has a 5" bore with a 14" stroke.

  7. why can't i use 7.5 ton kit on a 9' flatbed

    1. You can install this on a 9' flat frame truck. Generally a truck with a 9' bed would not have a 7.5 ton capacity. Northern Tool also has a 5 ton hoist kit. The item number is 3309021 (see below).

  8. i am wanting to build a dump trailer. would this kit work for a custom project like that. is there a video of this kit being installed.

    1. The Pierce Arrow Truck Hoist Kit is intended for a truck with a 12' - 14' bed. Any other type of applications would void the warranty.

    1. This flatbed truck hoist kit includes the hinges. It also includes the lift, power unit and controler, It does not include the flat bed.

  10. What are the specs of the pump? PSI, GMP? HP?

    Do you sell just the pump? if so what size are the ports and where can i find it on the website? Thanks

    1. You would want to contact the manufacturer to purchase the pump. Depending on the flow the pump is capable of 1.5 GPM at 1750 PSI with a maximum PSI of 2000. There is no horse power rate given.
