  1. Is the exterior "hot to touch"?

    1. The simple answer is yes. The front and sides and top are too hot to touch. The cooler areas are the hopper and pellet auger mother area. But for a home with small children you should consider a fence around or strict training.

  2. Does it need a chimney connection ?

    1. The pellet stove can be vented through a chimney. It would require a chimney liner and insulation around the chimney liner. For normal venting, it would be vented through the wall. See our vent kit item #44116.

    1. The clearances for this pellet stove are 2" from a size wall, 2" from the rear wall and 2" from a corner. It would require a non-combustible base to sit on.
