  1. Why aren't these for fireplace burning?

    I have tons of wood chips I'd like to burn. Also, how long to wait before burning? Since water is used, must require days or weeks to dry out.

    1. Fireplace burning is okay, however, these will burn hot. There is no time frame on drying the logs; they must be completely dry before use.

  2. How hot do these burn?

    We have to use the 'fake' logs due to a construction fault with our chimney that limits our temperature.

    Is there a place I can lookup the BTUs with the various materials these logs will be constructed with?

    1. There is not a place to look up BTU ratings on paper. These logs are made out of paper. The BTU rating would be based on your fireplace/stove.
