    1. The fire bricks can be used in a oil burner fire chamber, as long as the temperature does not exceed 2200 degrees Fahrenheit.

    2. You can use them. However, we have not tested this product in an oil burner.

  4. how do they install, do they glue or snap?

    I am replacing fireplace insert fire brick. what holds these bricks in place? can they be cut? do I need additional materials to install them?

    1. the firebox should have metal grooved holders to slide the old bricks out and new ones in. I did have to completely clean out the box of all ash to break free the old ones - check YOU TUBE for how to remove the bricks, it's a great source!

    2. These firebricks are used as replacements for stoves and inserts, many of which have a rail or guide for placement. Please contact the manufacturer of your fireplace, stove or insert to see their recommendation for installation.
