  1. Will salt/brine water effect this pump

    1. We use our pumps to circulate ocean water in live tank applications. They work great however you must clean every 4 months or so due to biofouling. All said our pumps do not last for more than 1.5 years due to the harsh conditions of the marine environment.

  3. what is the max temp of water this pump can handle

    1. The maximum water temperature the pump can handle is 130 degrees F. It can only handle it intermittently, it could not handle it continuously.

  4. How many amps does this pump @ 115 and @ 220 single phase . I see 23 amps but it should be different for the different voltages .

    1. The amperage of the pump is 23 amps at 115 volt, 12 amps at 208 volt and 11.5 amps at 230 volt.

    1. This pump comes with bare wire for a licensed electrician to hardwire into your electrical system. Any switches or plugs would also need to be added by the electrician.

    1. Per the manual: The maximum specific gravity at 3450 RPM will be 1.8 (polyester) and 1.5 (polypropylene and ryton).

  9. Will I loose GPH on a 20 foot sand point well

    1. The amount of water per hour that can be pulled from a 20' sand point well is directly related to the amount of available water and the size of pipe that is used. This pump cannot pull more water that the well will provide and there are too many variables to determine GPH loss.
