  2. Concerning the Model # OBH 230 -WALL wall bracket , will the arm rotate left and right when the bracket is mounted vertically ( how much) ? Also, how does a hoist attach to the arm ?

    1. The arm will pivot 100 degrees in each direction from center offering a total of a 200 degree total pivot.

  4. What is the length of the arm, how far does it protrude from the wall?

    1. From the center line of where the arm pivots in the bracket, the arm is 39 1/2" long. From the wall to the end would be 41.38".

  5. How would you recommend mounting this to a 6x6 post? Lag screws or through bolts? Does the hardware need to be grade 8 or 9? Or is standard grade ok?

    1. The manufacturer does not give a recommendation on mounting the arm bracket to a post. They recommend to contact a structural engineer on this to be sure that a 6 x 6 post would be able to handle the weight capacity you would be putting on the arm bracket and what they would recommend for mounting it.

  9. How far beyond the diagonal brace does the end of the main supporting tube protrude? I am asking because I potentially wish to use this with a different design of winch.
