    1. The manufacturer does not have a decibel rating for this model. It does make minimal noise.

  2. How to secure tower to the ground and with What; and how large and weight the assemble boxes?

    1. The windmill will include three 8 Ft ground rod stakes to anchor it to the ground. It would ship in one box measuring 52" L x 20" W x 32" H. The shipping weight is 303 pounds.

  3. What is the difference in the AWS0013 and the AWS0049 windmills?

    1. While the windmills themselves are the same they each have a different accessory package. AWS0013 includes a single aerator stone with 100 feet of 1/2" poly tubing and a foot valve. AWS0049 includes 2 aerator stones, 200 feet of 1/2" poly tubing, 100 feet of 1/2" weighting airline, 2 foot valves,3 hose connectors, a windmill hinge set, 2 way selector valves, 2 airstone housing buckets, and 2 duck decoy markers.

  4. Does the wind mill have a brake system to stop the fins?

    1. The windmill does not have a brake system. It has a self governing head and will turn itself away from the wind at 30 MPH.

  5. what is the foot print on 20' model. I have one now with 100" base.  want to order new one and make sure it will work,,

    1. The unit will have a 41" triangular base. One 23" and two of the 41" cross members would be required for the 20' height install.

    1. This windmill is designed as a pond aeration system. It is not designed to be used as a way to run an alternator for electricity.

  8. what happens when the wind reaches 55mph?

    I have a constant wind of 15mph and a canal 60 by 1300 ft. 5 ft. deep. Will your wind mill aerate this body of water in winds to 55 mph?

    1. This windmill features a self governing head on it so it will still work and aerate water at wind speeds of up to 55 mph.
