  1. Waht are the Specs for this unit; i.e. size of breaker required, 110 or 220?

    1. The heater must be hardwired to a 240 volt single phase circuit. A 25-30 amp breaker is required.

  2. can this unit be wired with a remote thermostat

    1. Yes, the Ouellet garage heater will accept a line voltage thermostat ,as long as it can handle the wattage of the heater. Ouellet makes one that can handle up to 5280 watts. See link below.

  3. Can any low-voltage thermostat be used?

    The operating instructions reference a built-in thermostat, with a range of 55-106°F. They also include instructions on locating a "remote thermostat". Is this unit wired to accept generic low-voltage thermostats? I need a low-temp thermostat, to maintain 40-45 degrees F.

    1. The Ouellet garage heater will not accept a low voltage thermostat. A line voltage thermostat can be used as long as it can handle the wattage of the heater. Ouellet makes one that can handle up to 5280 watts. See link below.
