Product Summary

This Optima Scale 48in. x 48in. Industrial Floor Scale is rated Legal for Trade by NTEP. It features a bright, 0.9in.H red LED display, with quick connects and factory calibration that allow the scale to operate immediately with minimal setup. This scale displays in lbs. or kgs and shows gross, tare and net conversion units. With 200% overload protection, this scale can be expected to perform within the most rugged industrial environments. Durably built from mild steel with a powder-coat finish, this unit is fully protected from forklifts and rough handling. Its rubber load cell swivel footings provide flexibility and accommodate weighing on uneven surface. The junction box with top access is wired internally.

    1. The OP‑916NN‑4X4‑10K does not have a 4–20 mA output. The manufacturer confirmed that to add analog capability, the separate T900A/O module is required. This module can be purchased directly from the manufacturer.

    1. The height of the scale is 4.2 inches. It is not recommended to store the scale on its side against the wall. It is recommended to store the scale on a stable and level surface.

    1. You will need a ramp to attach to the floor scale for the pallet jack to go on. It will depend on the pallet jack and ramp slope to determine if it will be able to get on the scale or not.

    1. The indicator can stay on if it is plugged in, it has an adjustable power saving mode. This does include an AC adapter.

    1. The scale will have a number on it stating that it meets the certification for legal trade. You would need to have someone come to the location to calibrate and inspect the scale to have the certification complete.

    1. This has an IP65 rating. It is water resistant. It is not waterproof. This should be used and stored indoors.
