Product Summary

This Optima Scale 48in. x 48in. Industrial Floor Scale is designed to withstand heavy-duty industrial use. An economic weighing solution, this scale provides exceptional performance for applications in warehouses, logistics operations, processing plants and shipping/receiving departments. Mild steel construction is powder-coated for corrosion resistance. Diamond-plate tread top creates an anti-skid surface. This weighs in both lbs. and kgs, and calculates gross, tare and net conversion units. 4 load cells are made of nickel-plated, anti-corrosion alloy steel with rubber swivel footings for flexibility when weighing on uneven surfaces. The bright LCD indicator with backlight is 0.6in.H and requires 4 AA batteries (included). The 20ft.L metal-shielded cable to the indicator is a quick-disconnect unit. This high-quality, economical scale has a top-access junction box, internal wiring, and a 200% overload protection against impact and drop damage. Easy to install.

    1. The OP‑916NN‑4X4‑10K does not have a 4–20 mA output. The manufacturer confirmed that to add analog capability, the separate T900A/O module is required. This module can be purchased directly from the manufacturer.

    1. You will need a ramp to attach to the floor scale for the pallet jack to go on. It will depend on the pallet jack and ramp slope to determine if it will be able to get on the scale or not.

    1. The indicator can stay on if it is plugged in, it has an adjustable power saving mode. This does include an AC adapter.

    1. The scale will have a number on it stating that it meets the certification for legal trade. You would need to have someone come to the location to calibrate and inspect the scale to have the certification complete.

    1. This has an IP65 rating. It is water resistant. It is not waterproof. This should be used and stored indoors.
