How many holes for repositioning are in the ripper shanks? How deeply below the bottom of the blade can the shanks be set?
I want to use this to tear up grass as well as level a horse arena. How deep will the shanks go into the ground when the blade is resting on the ground? What are the depths available depending on the hole used to adjust the length of the shanks? What is the width of the cutting surface of the shanks?
1 answer-
NorTracExpert13· 10 years ago
There are four holes for re-positioning in the ripper shanks. The maximum ripper depth is three inches below the box blade. The adjustments are in increments of 2-1/8". The other settings would be 7/8" below the box blade, 1-1/2" and 3-5/8" above the box blade. The scrapper teeth on the steel shanks are 2.4" wide.

Vertical Height between upper pin and lower pins?
I have a garden tractor that I am adding a limited Cat 1 3PH to. From what I understand, the reason it is considered "limited" is that it cannot lift implements as high since the tractor itself is lower to the ground. I understand that Cat 1 implements with a vertical spacing between the top and bottom pins of 15" is recommended for use with the limited Cat 1. Can someone measure the vertical distance of the lower pins to the upper pin and post that answer? Thank you very much.
1 answer-
NorTracExperts· 11 years ago
The vertical distance is approximately 18".
