NorthStar Pressure Washer Pump, 4000 PSI, 7 GPM, Belt Drive

The shaft diameter is 24 mm.

The pump would have a 24mm shaft.

The steps on an oil change are referenced on page 11 of the product manual. The pump is shipped with oil. Oil change details will follow. 1.) Place a suitable container below the pump to catch used oil, then remove the oil fill cap and oil drain plug.2.) Allow the used oil to drain completely, then reinstall the drain plug and tighten securely. 3.) Please dispose of used oil in a manner that is compatible with the environment. We suggest you take used oil in a sealed container to your local recycling center or service station for reclamation. Do not throw it in the trash; pour it on the ground or down the drain. 4.) With the pump in a level position, fill to the halfway point on the oil sight glass (see pump oil capacities below). For Comet or NorthStar pumps use Universal Tractor Transmission Oil or Mobil1 synthetic oil (15W50). For Cat pumps use SAE30 non-detergent oil or Cat Pump Oil (Northern Tool item# 22158).

This should be used with a BX44 belt. We offer the belts in a 3 pack. It is our part number 779545. This can be ordered through our NorthStar Department at 1-800-270-0810.

This pressure washer pump does have suction, however it is not recommended to be mounted above the tank. The pump will need to have a flooded inlet to prevent it from running dry. A secondary pump can be added to the tank. The pump should be 20% higher than the flow rating of the pump. With this application a 7 GPM x 20% will equal a minimum of 8.4 GPM pump would be needed.

This pump is bi-directional.

This NorthStar Pressure Washer Pump is a replacement belt driven pump for an existing pressure washer with a minimum 18.5 hp electric motor or 25 hp gas engine.
