    1. This pump accepts an engine with a 3/4 inch engine shaft. The engine used cannot be a gear reduction engine. This pump will accept a keyed engine shaft of 3/16 inch.

    1. In the current configuration, this sprayer pump can not be powered by an electric motor. Additional parts are available from the manufacturer to run this on an electric motor.

    1. This pump includes aluminum cast, Buna, and polypropylene components. We recommend checking your copper sulfate to see if it has compatibility issues with those material types. If it doesn't have compatibility issues and won't be harmful to those materials, this pump can handle it.

  6. What size of inlet hose and filter should be used?

    1. A 1" inlet hose and 1" filter should be used on this pump. The filter must be maintained and kept clean with frequent inspections especially if powder based products are used.

  7. Does the comet mp30 require additional mounting than from the engine

    1. The pump comes with the gear box for mounting to the engine. If you want to mount the pump/engine to a skid of some kind, that mounting hardware is not included other than the pictured brackets on the bottom of the pump.

    1. This pump will work with 300' of 1/2" hose. There will be a loss of pressure and GPM, but there are too many variables to be able to calculate what the loss would be.
