  1. Is this pump compatible and or is interchangabale with the NSQ 20200Q

    1. This pump is rated for 3 GPM and a maximum of 60 PSI. It features 1/2" NPT ports. This is significantly different from the NSQ20200Q pump which was rated for 2 GPM and a maximum of 200 PSI. It featured quick connect ports.

  2. Can you use this as a bleach pump?

    1. This pump is not designed for use with bleach. Bleach would damage the pump.

  3. How much head can this handle? Will it suck up water from a tank 3’ deep?

    1. This pump can self-prime up to 12 feet above the liquid level. It could handle a lift of 3 feet.

  4. Does this have an internal check valve?

    1. The pump does not have an internal check valve. If a check valve is installed in the plumbing, it must have a cracking pressure of not more than 2 PSI (0.14 bar).

  9. Can the pressure valve be modified

    Are you able to adjust the pressure which the regulator turns on and off the motor? Could I have the pressure regulated at 40 (43 to be precise) psi.
    Additionally, how does the pressure regulation work, is it a switch which is activated at a designated pressure or is it an analog signal?

    1. The pressure switch reacts to outlet pressure, and interrupts power at the preset shut-off pressure indicated on the pump label. This should not be modified. A bypass regulator like the one listed below would be required to set the line pressure lower than the factory setting of the pump.

  10. Flow Rate at 60 psi

    In the product description it says the pump has a flow rate of 3 GPM at 60psi but I would appreciate conformation. Is this the case, or is the flow rate reduced at 60 psi?

    1. This pump does produce 3 GPM @ 60 psi.
