Product Summary

This NorthStar® Tree Sprayer's piston pump moves 2.0 GPM at open flow and 1.0 GPM at max. system pressure of 200 PSI. Built-in pressure regulator with internal bypass allows easy adjustment. Stainless steel components and Viton® seals are chemical ready; priming/recirculation line recirculates chemical. NorthStar's proprietary tank design features extra-thick walls that won't bulge or sag. It stands up to chemicals thanks to a special polymer known for its superior chemical resistance. Tank is UV-stabilized to prevent fading and other sun damage. Also includes 3/8in x 35ft. hose, 2 1/2in. liquid-filled 300 PSI gauge, Teflon®-coated pump body, remote switch assembly and tie-down straps. Order optional boom kit Item# 2730111 but requires adapter kit Item# 268181, sold separately.

    2. This sprayer does not come with an agitator. The movement of the ATV will usually keep the chemicals agitated. Listed below is an agitator that works on NorthStar sprayers.

  2. Can this high-pressure tree sprayer be attached to a Northstar 26 gallon tank?

    1. I am not familiar with the 26 gal. northstar tank but you could put this pump on anything as long as there is a place to mount it. You would need to use or make a different pickup tube but the rest should work fine.

    2. There is a regulator and pressure gauge so you would be able to set it at whatever pressure you would need.

  4. can I buy a spot spray nozzel for this tank

    Can I also buy a different nozzel for spot spraying with this tank?

    1. The nozzle that comes with it probably has everything you need. It has a large range of spraying from a wide diffuse spray to a focused spray that would only get a small area. It's easily adjusted to suit your needs.

    2. The pump on this sprayer is rated at 200 PSI. We do not have any spot spray guns rated at more than 150 PSI. The spray gun that comes with this unit will act the same as the spot spray guns as you can adjust the spray pattern the same by just turning the nozzle to get a stream or cone or in between pattern.

  5. Will this pump & spray wand hold up to spraying 100% clorox without adding any water?

    1. This pump or wand would not hold up to clorox. It would eat up the seals.

  6. Other than the size of the tank how does this tree sprayer differ from the 26 gallon model?

    1. This high-pressure tree sprayer has a higher PSI output of 200 and a pump GPM of 2. The 26 gallon sprayer has a lower PSI output of 60 and a higher pump GPM of 5.5. This 16 gallon model has a 3/8" diameter x 35' long hose. The 26 gallon sprayer has a 3/4" diameter x 15' long hose. Click the link below to view the 26 gallon tree sprayer.

  7. Can bleach be used with this sprayer?

    Just wanted to know if bleach can be used with this sprayer. not straight bleach, but a 5 water to 1 bleach ratio

    1. Yes, we do sell a boom conversion kit for the NorthStar Tree Sprayer. We do sell an adapter kit also that will allow you to quickly change between using the boom and the wand. See links below for more information.

  10. Sprayer range

    On your Item# 268180 tree sprayer, is an optional sprayer wand available that will give me greater range than 30 feet? I'm more concerned with range, than with the volume of the spray (the amount of time to spray something). I'm looking to spray moss killer on my roof.

    1. No, we do not offer a sprayer wand that will increase the distance that this NorthStar tree sprayer is capable of spraying, the pump determines how far the chemical will spray not the wand.
