  1. Is the air compressor only available to repair bad compressor? ( no motor, no tank)

    1. Item 4593000 is the appropriate replacement air compressor pump for this machine.

  2. Can the recoil start be turned so that the pull rope comes out a different direction?

    1. The design of the engine will not allow for the recoil starter to be repositioned. We do not recommend any modifications as they could cause damage to the machine and would void the warranty.

  3. Do I have to buy a separate battery for this model or is it set to go as is?

    1. The engine does require two 9V batteries. Note that the batteries are only required for the initial startup, as they assist with priming the fuel system when it is dry. Once the system is primed, the engine will start without the batteries. If the engine sits unused for an extended period, the fuel system may need to be primed again, which could require multiple pulls of the starter rope or replacing the batteries if they are depleted.
