  1. Does the chemical injector work at full pressure?

    1. Nope, at low setting. I use it at a fast idle, with the black chemical tip only.

    2. This pressure washer's chemical injector only works with the low pressure (black) detergent/soap nozzle. It doesn't work at high pressure.

    1. There is no idle down feature on this machine.

  3. Does this unit have a bypass for non-use, but "idle" operation?

    1. This pressure washer does have a bypass that's handled by its unloader valve. We recommend shutting the pressure washer's engine down/off when it's not be used (just idling/not spraying) for longer than 1 or 2 minutes.

  4. is the Reel Mount Rated for certain size hose reel..or amout of hose ...50ft..100 ft .??

    wondering during transport on trailer... any bouncing or weight on the Reel mount cross member can be damaging to the frame of the machine...

    1. The hose reel will hold up to 150 feet of 3/8" hose. It should not cause any damage to the frame as long as it is mounted securely.

  5. I am thinking of buying a pressure washer. I am looking at one with 3.5gpm@ 4000PSI. Would you recommend unit with Cat or Comet pump?

    1. This pressure washer includes a Comet pump that is suited for most homeowner's purposes. If you are using your pressure washer more than 10-15 hours a week or for business purposes, Northern highly recommends a unit with the Cat pump.
