  2. Can you break down the duration for the warranty? Pump, engine, frame, and anything else

    1. Structural components have a warranty of 10 years. The pump has a warranty of 5 years. The engine has a warranty of 2 years. Normal wear items have a warranty of 90 days. Each of these dates are from the date of purchase and complete details can be found on page 49 of the product manual.

  4. What kind of soap or detergent can be ran through the pump?

    1. The pressure washer is compatible with most brands of pressure washer cleaner. NorthStar house wash concentrate item #47921 would be the house wash cleaner most commonly used. The chemical can depend on the pressure washing application.

  5. how do I add oil to pressure pump?

    1. There is a cap marked OIL on top of the crankcase. Remove the cap and add oil as needed. Only use a SAE 30 non-detergent oil. Please view item 22022 for compatible pump oil.

    1. The NorthStar Gas Cold Water Pressure Washer comes with a 5/16in. x 25ft. Uberflex® nonmarking hose, rear entry spray gun and lance with 18.5in. quick-connect wand and four professional-grade quick-connect nozzles (15°, 25°, 40° and chemical).

  7. I see this unit comes with 5/16in. x 25ft. Uberflex nonmarking hose. Will a standard 1/4" hose of a different brand work? Will MTM quick connect M22 and M14 couplings work with the unit?

    1. The uberflex hose has standard quick connect fittings. A hose of a different brand can be used. An adapter would have to be used to be compatible with a different hose connection.

    1. SAE 10W-30 oil is recommended for general use. Synthetic oil is acceptable for use in this engine.

  10. What can you decrease the psi to using the dial on this unit

    1. The lowest operating pressure would be about 500 PSI. It is recommended to use larger orifice nozzles instead to reduce operating pressure. This pressure washer includes 3.0 orifice size nozzles.
