  1. can I use this tool to grind glaze on fired ceramic ware?

    I use this type of tool in my ceramic studio primarily for grinding glaze drips off the bottoms of pieces.

    1. Yes - just be sure to use a silicon carbide grinding stone. The aluminum oxide won't do the trick- aluminum oxides are for soft metals, wood, rust, etc. silicon carbide will grind glass, stone, ceramics, etc.

  2. What is the long adjuting tube with hook on it used for?

    1. When you use the flexible extension shaft you clamp the adjusting tube to your workbench and hang the rotary tool from it to keep it from wandering around on the workbench.
