  1. Can I use this tool to cut light gauge steel?

    1. Milwaukee M18 Cut-Out Tool (2627-20) can cut very light gauge steel in short, occasional tasks, but it is generally not intended for heavy-duty metal cutting. For light-gauge steel, this tool might handle very thin sheets or light metal work, but it is not specifically designed or optimized for metal cutting. Using it on steel could wear down the blade quickly or reduce performance.

    1. The cut out tool is designed to be used with drywall. It is unable to cut through 3/4" plywood.
