The NitroCat® 1200-K Impact Wrench uses a smooth and powerful twin clutch hammer design, resulting in harder hitting impacts than a typical twin hammer design.   1. What is the torque on & off for this product?

    1. 1200 ft lbs in reverse and 900 forward

    2. According to the specs on the paperwork that came with my wrench, item 100107, this wrench has 900 ft-lbs torque in reverse, and three different settings in forward. I am very pleased with mine. I had two other inexpensive half inch impact wrenches, and this one breaks lug nuts loose in a flash while the other ones were still trying to break the first one loose.

    3. The impact wrench is not rated with off or on torque by NitroCat. The industry standard rates at working torque only.

  2. Will using a 1/4 male air hose fitting impede the proper volume of air to the gun? Is it necessary to use 1/4 mpt x 3/8 male air fitting?

    Is this backwards or does it really use less air when loaded as opposed to free spinning?
