  1. Ive owned this for yrs and love the idea and use this daily....my question is are your nonstick grates any better or is there warranty on the nonstick . Ive replaced these grates and still sticking terribly..

    1. The warranty through the manufacturer does not cover normal wear and tear on the grates. Do not use oils or non stick sprays when smoking. For grilling, ensure your grate is clean and preheated prior to adding food. If residue remains, soak the grate in warm soapy water.

    1. The model OG301 is the master grill and BBQ smoker. The model OG951GN2 is the premium XL BBQ grill with Proconnect.

    1. GRILL: Closed-hood cooking for top and bottom heat. Best when grilling large or thick cuts of meat or frozen food or for an all-around sear.

  5. can you grill with a lid open?

    1 answer

    1. You may grill with the lid open only when using the grill function. Preheat with the lid closed. Once the ADD FOOD appears, you may open the lid and add the food. Cooking will proceed with bottom heat only. The timer will start after 30 seconds. The woodfire flavor technology can not be used with the lid open.
