This NewAir Electric Garage/Shop Heater is a popular unit built to standup to the toughest working conditions. Mount it on the wall or ceiling to keep it safely out of the way of busy work areas, so you can carry on as usual. Its powerful fan will send heat to 500 square feet of space. Because it's a 240V, 30A unit, you or an electrician will need to hardwire it into a breaker. Once it's connected, it will provide you with enough fan power to heat a 2-car garage.

  3. Can you add a wall thermostat to this unit? What is the lowest temp setting for this unit?

    1. An external thermostat can be added to the item. Any modifications will void the manufacturer warranty. The temperature range on the heater will be 37-104 degrees Fahrenheit.

  4. what size breaker will I need do I need coax cable?

    1. This heater requires a 30 amp breaker. It does not use a coax cable.

  5. If the power goes out, will this unit start heating again when power is restored?

    1. The heater is always on unless the power supply is cut off. Depending on what the thermostat is set to, it will either start to heat back up after an outage or stay dormant until the setting is changed.
