  1. Is this heater controlled by thermostat

    Looking at the photos I do not see a thermostat control.

    1. This unit has a thermostat and control knob at the rear and the product main picture is not able to reveal it ... it is a deluxe led lighted numbers thermostat with error codes from e1 to e6 to explain possible failures to ignite.

    4. Indeed it is. Very nice digital gauge on rear of unit to see ambient temperature and a dial to set your desired temperature. These are fantastic heaters!

    4. Yes! Diesel works just fine. Just recently purchased 2 of these and 1 125,000 BTU Mr Heater and all work great in my 5,000 sq ft shop on local pump diesel fuel...no soot, very minimal odor. Highly recommended products IMO!

    5. This heater will burn diesel fuel also. Burning diesel will not affect the warranty or cause any other issues.

  3. Does this heater require electricity and what is the lowest setting on the thermostat?

    1. Yes it does require electricity. Lowest setting is 41 degrees

    2. Yes it requires a 110v outlet and I just checked mine and it looks like the lowest setting is 41°. Hope this helps.

    4. The heater does require electricity. The lowest setting would be 40 degrees and the highest setting would be 99 degrees.

    1. This heater is intended for use in construction areas that would have plenty of ventilation. It cannot be used in an enclosed space. There is no venting available for it.

    1. At 2.8 amps and 120 volts, the heater would require 336 watts to operate.

    1. Kerosene heaters will put out moisture. While kerosene puts out more BTU's per gallon of fuel burned than propane, kerosene puts out more moisture per gallon of fuel burned than propane.

  9. Is there a bigger kerosene tank available? 4galloms won't last me too long
