This Milwaukee M18 FUEL QUIK-LOK Pole Saw Attachment has the power to cut hardwood branches and other tough brush, delivering smooth, fast cuts with minimal kickback. The versatile M18 FUEL system is made up of 2 components, an M18 FUEL power head (not included), plus a QUIK-LOK pole saw attachment (included). The QUIK-LOK attachment system offers the ability to quickly swap out other attachments (sold separately) in the M18 FUEL system to handle additional yard chores when the edging is done. Operates off the M18 REDLITHIUM HD9.0 battery pack system (Item# 62598, battery and charger sold separately), using REDLINK PLUS intelligence hardware and software to ensure optimal power, performance and the extended run time you need without bogging down on the jobsite.

    1. The pole saw can be used with (1) three foot extension model number 49-16-2721 (item number 73627) only.

    1. This is the pole saw attachment only and it to be used with the Milwaukee 18-volt power head. The power head could be used with the Redlithium 5.0 battery.

  3. If I have the 2828 m18 trimmer will this work with it?

    1. The pole saw attachment would not work with the M18 model 2828 trimmer. It would be compatible with the Quik-Lok trimmers.

  4. what oil do you use for bar oil?

    1. The manufacturer does not recommend a particular brand/type of bar oil. When cutting trees, please use a vegetable based chain oil for the safety of the remaining tree. The bar and chain are Oregon brand and can be oiled with the Oregon line of Bar and Chain oils.
