The ergonomically designed tool features 39ft. of synthetic rope, a variable-speed hand controller, a wireless control that can work from up to 50ft. away and a corded remote to use if the remote battery fails you. Operates on a DC 24V 2.5AH Lithium battery with power indictor LED lights. Includes AC/DC charger.

    1. The specific replacement battery is the Mile Marker 71-1000-29 Rhino Pull replacement battery. This can be purchased through Mile Marker direct.

  2. Does the battery come off the unit to be charged?

    1. Attach the battery to the winch. Insert the power cord of the charger into a standard power outlet. Then you will insert the plug of the charger into the charging port located on the winch.

  3. This winch does not free spool out... under power what is the line speed going out?

    1. The line Speed(m/min) at the first layer 2.1, second layer 3.5, third layer 3.9 and at the fourth layer 4.4.

    1. When pulling a full load, the winch can run for 1 minute, then should be allowed to rest for 10 minutes.

    1. This unit does have a Winch Out option to lower a load with power.

  9. The description says it includes a wired remote in "case the battery fails." Does that mean it can also be plugged in?

    1. You can connect the remote to the winch to operate it, if the battery fails. If the battery has no charge in it, you would need to recharge it, the battery or the remote would not work. The winch has a built in charger and would need to be plugged into a 120 volt outlet to charge it.
