  1. Will it open one gate?

    I have a gate 14.5 feet long, over a concrete driveway, will this opener open it? It would open the entire span, one way.

    1. It Will handle a gate up to 16 Ft on good hinges.On some windy days you may have a problem with resistence.

    3. Yes, this opener will open it, it would open it the entire span. Ideal for gates up to 18ft. long.

  2. Can you speed up the closing on the gate 34662-4454?

    1. The rate of speed the gate closes is not adjustable. You can adjust the amount of time for the gate to close from 15 to 120 seconds after driving through.

  3. I need the gate to lock closed so my autisic son can't get out will the gate opener keep it close or do I need to buy an auto lock for this?

    1. The gate opener will open and close the gate but will not lock the gate. You will need Mighty Mule Automatic Gate Lock, Model# FM143, item# 34666 to lock the gate closed.
